I will test it when I am back from work.
About the small region. I also notice it, so maybe we use the local.secregion and do first +16 and second -16 to check several times.
so the chance is a little bit better to get also the small regions.
is there a chance to put something in the sphere core, so that you can loop trough all area and roomdefs?

btw. with this script it is possible to make different clima zone on the map with different temperature. my goal is to make it ingame lke I wrote and also displaying it on the map like a weather chart on the tv with nice little picture (sun, cloads,cloady and so on)
