Hello someone told me that sphere have a bug that when u sell having more than 200 items in your bagpack crashes.. is it true?

I don't think, maybe in sphere 51!

Just tried it with 979 different item, and anyway you can sell a maximum of 112 different item at time.

i mean 200+ of the same item for example 200 bandana in the backpack, i did in some server and have no problems.. but im actually in one that have a cap of how many items can u have in your backpack for sell, if you have more the vendor dont let u sell.. the admin says that is not because they have a donation command to stack the items ... he says that is cos sphere have a bug that when u try to sell more than 200 items it crashes... and as i said i sold more than 200 bandanas in other servers and i had no problems.. so that's why i think that he's just lying to me and i want to contrast it..

I think it's just an excuse for the donation command , i tried even with 979 daggers.

Jokes a part, i think it means this (from revision):


- Amount of items in sell packet is now limited to the container size(the 112 i wrote above)

He is using an old sphere version ?

i have no idea about what version is he using...
Anyway i just join in this shard cos a friend is playing there.. but it looks like the third world.. the potions doesnt stack.. so you cant macro and then sell all the potions cos the vendors are have a cap of 175 items for allow selling..

i have been playing in santiago shard some years ago it was sphere and i didnt have these problems of selling etc...

This shard also have a custom client that doesnt allow you to use uoa, razor easy uo etc..

And their players looks like members of a sect i tried to suggest that allow to sell more items and the players went to defend their admin saying that is not possible that for good reasons..

And then the admin went out telling me that i dont know anything about sphere cos is a know bug and now i stop and think.. really? but do you think that i have the iq of a monkey? i have been playing uo in both runuo and sphere shards.. and i allways sold daggers and bandanas without problems.. anyway Thank you for your answers they was really helpfull ^^

I know that there is a bug on sphere51a (still with LiL) that allows someone to crash and close the emulator in one second.
Don't ask me how to do bcuz i never known.
I had in the past a sphere 51 shard, a player sent me a page writing "hey guys, have you fixed the istant crash problem?".
I supposed he was joking... wrong!
He succeeded to crash my sphere console without doing nothing visible.
Fortunally he was the only one to know that and he was out of my country too, so i had no future problem.

Another way to crash old sphere server is telnet flooding but you know what is going on looking at your player status.
