Hi, guys. A long time ago i downloaded the basic sphere server, populated some cities with NPCs and basically created and RPG for my 5 friends through UO.

So i wanted to know if there is a very basic RPG version i could download somewhere, with classes and races, even if full of bugs just to play with them again. Since i will be online kind of DMing, i could talk using NPCs and move them, attack with them and so on.

It would be cool. Kind of a gift to my friends. Could anybody help? I am talking about very very basic stuff. There probably already is online, but i can't find it.

anyway even with the basic shard. u have to spawn all monster and npcs..

Maybe anyone can give u an old shard with spawn. But I see it hard.

I can make the spawns. That is what i did before. Spawning monsters, populating with NPCs. That wouldn't be a problem. But the system, with classes, races and so on, would.

It will be hard to find.
Why dont u try a normal server? I mean one already online

There was a server I remeber with a good race system... well "good" xD

If you take a look at the download section you´ll notice that are tons of custom shards ready for download. If they don´t have a race system (i doubt it, but haven´t checked out to much from them..) just take a look at the scriptsharing collection there are a bunch of well system races. (i´ll attach it here anyway).
Check the packs because you can find interesting things for your purposes:

Maybe some of these scripts from scriptsharing doesnt work properly but they are very easy to tweak, check the spherewiki wich link is at top of the page, in a few days you will learn how to modify and make them work they you want everything is very well explained and makes it way more easier to learn.

(unzip the folder from github in your hard disk, then go to this webpage https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s5nmspn8gjg2j4j/g6mfSTZh-m
and download everything. The muls and statics must be in uo directory the rest in the runuo one).
Finally press the .bat file and run the exe that is generated, open the client and play...

it comes with custom statics,old menus style, fully spawned world with npcs, deco, etc. It reached more than 200 players around 2010 if i remember well...

imho the best rp shard i played, it has vampire and orcs races and it´s fully orinted to rp events,items,npcs,player rp stories... It´s a runuo shard replicating sphere 0.51a combat system and mechanics (pretty well i have to say but i aways prefered the real deal).

You can have this one and make in sphere other with your ideas, switching between boths whenever you want... more funny i guess.

I will work slowly on a sphere server for my friends. When you send your message i was already working on a runuo server from nerun distro. It is working pretty well to craft my rp shard. Finalizing the Race and Class system now. We will play tomorrow. The playability is awesome, it will be very fun.

Your shard seems awesome, man. Will be our shard when we want more pvping.

I am from Brazil, so we rp in portuguese. But if, eventually, i decide to host a pvp server with your and bring back Imagine Nation i will talk to you. Idk, it may happen in the future. Hosting an open server. We will see. =)
