RE: Tags vs DB Query?
It was just to see opinions Smile

We are not going ahead with applying this change. Someone suggested to me to see if it would be quicker, but I did know that waiting on a db response would take longer than pulling a value from the array/list that TAGs are in.

We are building a large quest system to add to existing quests, which will use a database to control it rather than tags, but the quests would be not common changes, and we would use it elsewhere too so the db is nice to use for it.

Staff_Stanic - Using the database does not produce as much lag as you may think. We use it a lot already, every death, skill gain, save, server timer, and it does not impact on lag. Have you experienced lag from using a database? If so it sounds more like an issue with your connection to it and/or your structure of the database.
