I don't like packets either but they are much more easier to me in the source than with sendpacket/packet handlers, write* and read* makes life easy, the only you really need to invest is the packet structure which is usually added already in ruosi and the lenght which is not always.

What do you mean with random order? I thought it was working fine already, Grid location is set each time a content is added to a container setting to it the first free grid index found unless you drop the item in an specific grid, in which case, the item goes to that grid after some checks.
